Social media has always been my creative outlet from the mental stresses of growing pains. When I created my first YouTube video, I vowed to myself to create beauty content that invited individuals with the same love and interest with the intentions of creating a community. A community that I desperately wanted you to feel welcomed into. After I graduated college, I found myself in another abyss of depression during the pandemic and searched for an escape from the demons in my head. Who knew that talking about my life as a makeup artist would resonate and entertain so many people? Who knew that these videos would get me fully booked every single month? The simple joy of creating and posting videos not only scratch my creative itch, but it also has made me have almost 89,000 friends that I never thought I’d make.
